Kroger to give employees $100 to get COVID-19 vaccine

Supermarket chain Kroger announced on Friday that once employees are fully vaccinated against the corona virus, it will give employees $ 100.

Kroger said employees from grocery, supply chain, manufacturing, pharmacy, and hourly call center employees are eligible to pay.

For workers who receive vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna, that means they will receive $ 100 after taking two doses of the vaccine. Several other single-dose vaccines are expected to hit the market in the coming weeks.

Kroger said workers who cannot be vaccinated for medical or religious purposes can choose to undergo health and safety training to collect fees.
