One of the largest supermarket chains in China has stated that even if the state government removes mandatory regulations, it still requires employees and shoppers to wear masks.
Texas and Mississippi said this week they would let that mandate expire amid encouraging pandemic numbers.
The Kruger Family Company will continue to require everyone in stores across the country to wear a mask so that all our employees on the front lines of supermarkets can receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
The company and other chains (including Harris Teeter, Fred Meyer and Ralph’s) operate stores under the Kroger brand.
Other companies that will continue to use masks include Costco, Best Buy, Macy’s, and Target.
Neither Illinois nor Kentucky has announced plans to relax state mask regulations in most public places. Missouri has never established a mask license.
